* Specification and design of analog and mixed-signal blocks, including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, data interfaces and optoelectronics.
* Full AMS design flow from system-level design and schematic through layout and extracted-level verification.
* Define layout guidelines and review layout implementation.
* Collaborate with test engineers on silicon characterisation and validation, analysing lab data and correlating results with simulations.
* Support integration of analog subsystems with complex digital logic and mixed-signal verification.
* Develop system-level models and contribute to product-level characterisation.
* Research new architectures and technologies and contribute to patent generation.
* Present technical work and contribute to design reviews and documentation.
* Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Requirements
* MSc/PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.
* Strong hands-on experience across the full analog IC design flow.
* Experience with 65nm, 28nm or below CMOS technologies.
* Strong knowledge of full-custom analog layout and extracted-level verification.
* Experience with Cadence or Synopsys analog/mixed-signal EDA tools.
* Experience taking designs through silicon, characterisation and productisation is highly desirable.
