No Offer Description The Universitat de Girona (UdG), part of the public university system of Catalonia, is recognized for its excellence in research and its commitment to social progress. It promotes science, technology, the humanities and the arts with a clear vocation for cooperation and social responsibility, contributing to the sustainable development of the region and to the critical and engaged education of new generations. The Department of History and Art History at UdG carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of History, Art History, Archaeology, Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism. The department is involved in several undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, and leads competitive research projects at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a key player in its field. A call for applications is open for a full-time faculty permanent position at the rank of full professor ('catedràtic'). The ideal candidate will have a academic background in Medieval Art. Experience and potential to develop quality research in History of Art in the Early Middle Ages; History of Romanesque Art; History of Medieval Architecture.
