* Design and develop Java applications and libraries
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

* Experience in Java server-side software development
* Experience designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems
* Experience designing and evolving messaging protocols and software libraries
* Experience applying testing methods to support software correctness and performance
* Experience measuring, benchmarking, and profiling components and systems
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* A collaborative approach, willingness to share knowledge and learn from others, and interest in learning and keeping up to date
