You will be responsible for providing top-tier hair services, consultations, and personalized styling advice to a discerning clientele. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to maintaining the salon's reputation for excellence and potentially mentor junior stylists. Key Responsibilities
* Perform expert hair cutting, styling, and colouring services for a diverse clientele.
* Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs, hair type, and desired outcomes.
* Provide professional advice on hairstyles, colour choices, and hair care routines.
* Specialize in advanced colour techniques, including balayage, ombré, highlights, and full colour changes.
* Ensure client satisfaction through meticulous service and attention to detail.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workstation.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, cutting, and colouring techniques through continuous education.
* Build and foster strong client relationships, encouraging loyalty and repeat business.
* Assist in training and mentoring junior stylists on techniques and client service.
* Promote salon services and retail product sales effectively. Requirements
* Recognized qualification or apprenticeship completion in hairdressing.
* Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a qualified Hair Stylist, with a strong focus on colour specialization.
* Expertise in all aspects of hair cutting, styling, and colouring for various hair types and textures.
* Demonstrated proficiency in advanced colour correction and creative colouring techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult effectively.
* A creative flair and passion for the hair and beauty industry.
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy appointment book.
* Professional appearance and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
* Willingness to work in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, ZA, and commit to on-site service delivery.
