About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Global Medical Launch Lead
- Gynaecological Oncology to expand our growing business. Reporting to the Global Head of Medical Affairs, the Global Medical Launch Lead owns the global medical strategy and launch readiness for Pharmanovia's priority gynaecological-oncology launch assets and co-owns the integrated cross-functional launch plan with the commercial lead for each asset. The initial focus is ovarian cancer and women's cancers. The role translates clinical evidence into a differentiated medical position and scientifically robust input to the access case, supporting appropriate clinical decision-making across markets. It owns the scientific narrative and the asset's evidence priorities, and partners with the Global RWE function on the evidence, congress and publication plans. It leads the medical contribution to HTA and payer engagement, global KOL and scientific society engagement, and the coordination of medical launch readiness with priority markets and cross‑functional partners. This is a strategic and highly hands‑on global role, delivered through influence rather than direct line management. It establishes a single medical strategy and evidence narrative for the asset across Pharmanovia's licensed territories, deploys it first in the priority European launch markets, and extends it to other markets, including those led by General Managers or partners, as they approach launch. In a lean, fast‑moving speciality pharma environment, the role holder must move fluidly from setting global medical strategy to personally leading priority KOL engagement and HTA work, advisory boards and the practical problem‑solving that launches require, while maintaining independent medical judgement and the non‑promotional character of Medical Affairs. Responsibilities
* Own the global medical strategy, positioning and evidence narrative for the priority launch asset(s) in ovarian cancer and women's cancers.
* Build a differentiated, evidence‑based position from the pivotal data, defining the target scientific claims and the medical input for positioning relative to relevant standards of care.
* Define and codify the medical launch approach for gynaecological oncology, and contribute it to Pharmanovia's shared launch playbook for reuse across the oncology portfolio.
* Define the asset's evidence priorities and co‑develop the post‑authorisation evidence plan (real‑world evidence, registries, investigator‑initiated research and phase IV or other studies) with the Global RWE function, which leads its design, governance and execution.
* Prioritise the evidence that strengthens the generalisability of the pivotal data to European clinical practice and supports HTA and appropriate clinical use.
* Own the medical response to clinically relevant co‑medication and drug‑interaction considerations, including prescriber education and defining any supporting evidence needs.
* Partner with Clinical Development on protocol and endpoint input, feasibility, investigator and site identification and the communication of approved results.
* In close collaboration with Market Access/HEOR, lead the global medical contribution to the access strategy and value narrative for the launch asset(s), ensuring the clinical value proposition and payer evidence are scientifically robust and patient‑relevant.
* Support country HTA and payer engagement (for example, G‑BA, HAS, NICE, SMC and other national processes) with comparator strategy, relative‑effectiveness evidence, submission input, clarification responses and expert preparation, in line with agreed cross‑functional roles.
* Identify reimbursement‑relevant evidence gaps and co‑develop the real‑world evidence, epidemiology, outcomes and comparative‑effectiveness plans to address them, without assuming ownership of pricing or commercial negotiations. *
