We are looking for a
Senior Avaloq Consultant
with strong hands-on experience in the
Avaloq Core Banking System
. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining business understanding, technical expertise, and client interaction to deliver value across complex banking environments.
Location is not a constraint.
We are open to professionals based anywhere in the world
who can effectively collaborate in international environments and work in English.
Your responsibilities
Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into effective Avaloq solutions.
Configure, customize and optimize Avaloq modules according to client and project needs.
Develop and maintain Avaloq-related components, including parameterization, scripting and technical enhancements.
Support integrations between Avaloq and internal or third-party systems.
Contribute to system upgrades, migration initiatives and platform evolution projects.
Participate in testing activities and ensure quality, stability and performance of delivered solutions.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology partners.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
Produce and maintain functional and technical documentation.
Support junior consultants by sharing knowledge and best practices when required.
Your profile
Minimum
4-5 years of proven experience working with Avaloq Core Banking System
.
Strong functional and/or technical knowledge of Avaloq.
Experience in Avaloq development, customization, configuration or implementation projects.
Understanding of banking processes within Private Banking, Wealth Management or Retail Banking environments.
Experience working in international and client-facing projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within distributed teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional languages are considered a strong advantage.
Nice to have
Avaloq certifications.
Experience in Avaloq migration, upgrade or transformation programs.
Knowledge of Avaloq Script, SQL and related technologies.
Experience with system integration and API-based architectures.
Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements within banking.
