Banco Santander seeks a senior economist to lead Economic Research for Latin America from Madrid. The role combines macroeconomic analysis, scenario design, and coordination across regional teams with a focus on delivering independent, well-founded regional insights to senior management.
The candidate should have strong programming skills (Python/R/Matlab/Stata), experience in forecasting, and fluency in Spanish and English, with Portuguese knowledge preferred.
