THE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF MÁLAGA NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: Master's degree with proven experience in human virology

Project: FORT** IBIMA FORTALECE **. Funded by the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII). Fortalece Program of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities.
Research Area: DE-09 Immune response to viral infections.
Location: IBIMA Bionand Platform (Located at Málaga Tech Park Headquarters), Málaga Regional University Hospital (Carlos de Haya Hospital and Maternal and Child Hospital), Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital, and University of Málaga.
Demonstrable professional experience in the tasks proposed to be carried out (2 points will be awarded for 6 months up to a maximum of 5 points).
Participation in research projects or indexed scientific publications (0.5 points per project/publication up to a maximum of 2 points).
These requirements must be proven with a certificate issued by the competent authority or a responsible declaration.
Specific Requirements
Graduate with a Degree = 300 ECTS attached to Level 3 (Master) or Graduate with a Master (= 300 ECTS) or equivalent in Biochemistry or Biotechnology.
Knowledge of English C1 or higher accredited.
Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent
Additional Information
Hiring type: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (Article 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law *).
Category: Carlos III - Master.
Weekly hours: Full-time (35 hours/week).
Gross annual salary: €24,500
Estimated duration: 12 months, extendable - The contract is linked to the duration of the project/activity/funding.
Selection process
Based on the points obtained in the merits evaluation, at least the three best candidates will be selected for a personal interview where communication skills, work aptitude, and abilities will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. Only candidates who score at least 50% of the evaluable merits will be eligible for the interview stage.
After the position is awarded, if the selected candidate declines the contract, the hiring committee can choose to offer it to the next candidate according to the scoring list.
