Offer Description
To develop novel bio-based, 3D-printable, multi-stimuli-responsive non-isocyanate polyurethane (NIPU) adhesives that integrate complementary reversible chemistries with photothermally active nanoparticles. The research will elucidate how network architecture, hydrogen-bond density, chain mobility, and nanoparticle-induced local heating govern adhesion, failure, and controlled debonding. Establishing these structure–rheology–performance relationships will provide fundamental insights into reversible NIPU networks and enable next-generation circular adhesive technologies that combine robust bonding during service with localized, on-demand debonding.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or Environmental Science and Technology.
