Offer Description
The Universitat de Girona (UdG), part of the public university system of Catalonia, is recognized for its excellence in research and its commitment to social progress. It promotes science, technology, the humanities and the arts with a clear vocation for cooperation and social responsibility, contributing to the sustainable development of the region and to the critical and engaged education of new generations.
The Department of agricultural chemical engineering and agri-food technology at UdG carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of chemical enginering and environmental technology among others. The department is involved in several undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs, and leads competitive research projects at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a key player in its field.
A call for applications is open for a full-time faculty permanent position at the rank of full professor ('catedràtic').
The ideal candidate will have a academic background in biotechnological processes, products and projects. Experience and potential to develop quality research in Gas treatment and carbon dioxide bioconversion by biotechnological processes. The candidate should also demonstrate teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
