About the job
Responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage and dining service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Leading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating restaurant and bar staff
Monitoring and ensuring beverage and dining service is up to the highest standards
Ensuring hygiene and maintenance of all service area is being upheld
Responsible for ordering, margins, POS transactions, cost and stock control
Handling and resolving travelers concerns
any other duties advised by Hotel Manager
Skills/Qualifications:
At least 2 years of relevant job experience, preferably on passenger ships
Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
Friendly and energetic attitude
Proven leadership abilities and communication skills
Strong organizational and motivational skills and coaching abilities
Willingness to learn and progress
Good command of English
