Puerto Real, Spain | Contract type: Freelance / B2B You will support the BorWin4, DolWin4, BalWin1 and BalWin2 offshore grid connection projects as an HV Electrical Inspector. Based at a fabrication site in Puerto Real, Spain, this is a fully site-based assignment requiring continuous on-site presence. You will focus on the inspection and quality surveillance of electrical components and systems, including high-voltage equipment, covering manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning activities and ensuring compliance with applicable project requirements, technical specifications and quality standards. The assignment is full-time, with regular working days from Monday to Friday; occasional weekend work may be required depending on project and site activities. We expressly welcome applications from all individuals, regardless of gender, background, or other personal characteristics. As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following

responsibilities:
• Perform site supervision and inspections of electrical components and systems, including high-voltage equipment, in accordance with project and internal requirements.
• Carry out inspections according to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), including witness and hold points as well as monitoring and review points for cable trays, cable laying, earthing, ATEX areas, component installation and assembly activities.
• Attend FATs, installation activities, commissioning and functional testing of electrical systems, including HV, MV and LV components where applicable.
• Review on-site technical documentation, as-built documentation and relevant site records, and participate in technical meetings and pre-production meetings (PPMs).
• Document inspection results, open points and observations in the project software Dalux and escalate identified risks or issues to the responsible Technical Lead / Project Management.
• Support continuous improvement and lessons learned and, where required, provide support to HSE inspection activities. Does

• Qualification in electrical engineering, e.g. electrical engineering degree, electrical engineering vocational training, journeyman qualification or master craftsman qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in electrical inspection, field service engineering, installation and/or commissioning of electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical auxiliary systems, protection and control technology and/or primary technology, such as C&P, SCADA, DCS, RTU systems, switchgear, converters or HV/MV/LV components.
• Experience with commissioning activities, including functional or signal testing; offshore-specific experience and basic mechanical knowledge are an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant technical codes and standards, e.g. DNV and ATEX, as well as workable knowledge of MS Office.
• English and Spanish language skills at B2 level.
