Corporate Communications Manager, MotoGP
Purpose of the Role
MotoGP is entering a defining new era. The championship has the opportunity to grow its global audience, deepen its cultural relevance and establish itself as one of the most compelling sports and entertainment brands in the world.
The Corporate Communications Manager will help shape and tell the business story behind MotoGP's next phase of growth. You will explain the organisation's strategy, leadership and wider value with clarity and credibility, strengthening confidence among business media, partners, governments, industry stakeholders and employees.
This role calls for a globally experienced corporate communicator with strong judgement, an exceptional network and the ability to move confidently between senior counsel and hands-on delivery. You will create high-value opportunities for executives, support MotoGP's commercial ambitions and help protect its reputation across a complex international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications Strategy
• Create and deliver a corporate communications plan aligned with MotoGP's business strategy, brand direction and commercial growth objectives
• Build a clear corporate narrative covering growth, innovation, audience development, partnerships, sustainability and international impact
• Support the Communications Director in creating a clear messaging hierarchy for relevant executives and the wider organisation
• Maintain a proactive plan of business announcements, executive opportunities, industry moments and stakeholder communications Global Business Media Relations
• Bring established, trusted relationships with international business, financial, trade, technology and sports-business media into play
• Lead proactive pitching, announcements, briefings, interviews and background engagement
• Create evidence-led stories that strengthen confidence among partners, governments, promoters and industry stakeholders
• Coordinate with Consumer and Sporting Communications to ensure consistent handling and amplification of overlapping stories Executive Communications & Media Training
• Support the Communications Director in advising senior executives on speeches, talking points, presentations, interviews, opinion pieces and stakeholder briefings
• Identify high-value global platforms and create opportunities that reinforce MotoGP's strategy and reputation
• Manage the media-training programme for relevant executives and ensure leaders are thoroughly prepared for public and media appearances
• Help the senior teams incommunicating complex or sensitive business topics in clear, confident and human language Reputation & Issues Management
• Monitor corporate reputation, stakeholder sentiment and emerging risks across markets
• Develop issues plans, Q&A, holding statements and response protocols with the Communications Director and relevant functions
• Support coordinated responses across Legal, Commercial, Sporting, People, Sustainability and senior leadership
• Measure corporate coverage, message adoption and stakeholder impact, using the learning to strengthen future work Key Characteristics
• Experienced adviser: You have operated across markets and understand the dynamics of an international sports and media business
• Exceptional network: You bring trusted global media relationships and know how to use them with judgement
• Clear, compelling writer: You turn complex business material into messages and stories people understand
• Commercially astute: You understand how reputation and communications support partnerships, rights value and business growth
• Trusted and composed: You bring discretion, precision and calm to sensitive or fast-moving situations
• Highly collaborative: You build credibility with executives and connect teams around one clear narrative Ideal Experience
• Substantial global corporate communications experience within sport, entertainment, media, a major consumer business or a leading communications consultancy
• Strong international business and financial media relationships and a proven record of corporate narrative development
• Experience advising senior executives and producing speeches, briefings, thought leadership and media programmes
• Practical issues and reputation-management experience in a complex international organisation
• Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish or another relevant language is advantageous
• Experience supporting commercial partnerships, government relations, sustainability or major corporate transactions would be beneficial
