Barcelona, Catalonia, España A Piece of Pie - Meaningful Impact Jornada completa
About the job A Piece of Pie is a global strategy consultancy rooted in the humanities and social sciences. We help life sciences and healthcare companies turn a deeper understanding of people into better business decisions. We are looking for a Behavioural Science Consultant (3–5 years of experience) who understands the gap between what people say and what they actually do, and can translate that understanding into strategy. Someone who applies behavioural science to explore how lived experience, culture, beliefs and practical constraints shape decisions, and connects those insights with clients’ business challenges. This is a hands-on role combining strategic work, project delivery, client relationships and internal capability building. What you will do
• Lead the behavioural science stream of projects across human insights, brand positioning, launch and adoption strategy.
• Shape research and lead interpretation, identifying the patterns, tensions and drivers behind behaviour.
• Turn complex evidence into clear strategic recommendations and compelling client narratives.
• Apply behavioural science to develop interventions, tools and strategies that support behaviour change, with clear objectives and measures of success.
• Contribute the behavioural science component of client proposals, turning frameworks, methods and emerging evidence into practical approaches for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build client relationships and translate technical behavioural science into actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to internal behavioural science training and capability building, helping the wider team develop their expertise. What you will bring Requirements
• 3–5 years of consulting experience in behavioural science or a related field.
• Demonstrable ability to translate an understanding of people’s lives and the contexts shaping their behaviour into business strategy.
• Strong qualitative research and sensemaking skills.
• Experience applying behavioural science across the project lifecycle: for insight gathering and diagnosis, for strategic recommendations, and for the design and implementation of behavioural science-based interventions.
• Experience using behavioural science frameworks to diagnose behaviour and design practical responses to clients’ strategic and commercial challenges.
• Confidence integrating qualitative insights with quantitative, scientific and market evidence.
• Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects, balancing client relationships, timelines and budgets.
• Strong interest in life sciences and healthcare, and the motivation and ability to apply your expertise to this sector.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with fluency in English. Nice to have
• Experience with ethnographic approaches.
• Experience in strategy or management consulting.
• Experience in life sciences or healthcare.
• Previous experience contributing to proposals or identifying commercial opportunities.
• International experience. Don’t tick every box? We would still love to hear from you. If you meet most of these requirements and believe you can bring something valuable to the team, please apply.
