Your Mission As an IT Desktop Support Technician, you will be a key point of contact for RPM employees across South of Europe, combining hands-on technical expertise with a strong customer-service mindset. Your mission will be to ensure that employees have reliable, secure and effective technology to do their jobs — from their laptops, mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications to connectivity, peripherals and local IT services. But this role goes beyond day-to-day support. You will also contribute to IT projects across Europe, standardisation initiatives, migrations, acquisitions and integrations. What Impact Will You Have? You will help keep our South European companies running smoothly while contributing to the continuous improvement and standardization of RPM’s IT environment. Key Responsabilities:
• Handle, monitor and update IT tickets in ServiceNow, including initial diagnosis, categorization, prioritization and resolution where possible.
• Support joiner, mover and leaver activities, including equipment preparation, handover, access changes, recovery and basic user guidance.
• Build, configure, install and support PCs, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals in line with RPM standards.
• Manage end-user devices through Intune, supporting compliance, security, replacements, lifecycle activity and asset record updates.
• Provide local network and connectivity support, including LAN devices from the firewall down, Wi-Fi/VPN troubleshooting, and coordination with the local ISP under guidance from the network team.
• Configure, install and support printers, scanners, label printers and other warehouse, factory or office IT equipment.
• Install and support approved, correctly licensed applications, including Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and approved local business applications.
• Support IT projects, office moves, onsite implementations, acquisitions and integrations, including requirements gathering, testing, inventory collection, migration support, hyper care and access validation.
• Act as local remote hands for infrastructure, security and application teams, and coordinate local vendors, suppliers, mobile phone allocation, contracts, appointments and service follow-up.
• Maintain simple support documentation, site inventory, setup notes, checklists and known fixes, and travel or work outside normal hours when project work or outages require it. Experience:
• +3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, service desk or a similar L1/L2 role, preferably in a multi-site or international environment.
• Strong Windows 11 and endpoint support experience, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, asset records and hardware refresh activities.
• Good Microsoft 365 support knowledge, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for device deployment, management, compliance and troubleshooting.
• Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM ticketing tool to manage incidents and service requests.
• Fluent English and Spanish, if you also knows Italian is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Entra ID, including access, MFA and identity troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity awareness, device compliance, phishing prevention, basic networking, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and ISP coordination.
• Proactive, organized and comfortable working with remote teams.
• Basic documentation skills, project or migration support experience, joiner/mover/leaver support and supplier/vendor coordination.
