Role Overview As Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of Anfitrión Marbella, ensuring that every guest feels personally attended to and genuinely cared for. You will manage both day and evening shifts within a small, professional team that values calm efficiency, communication, and sensitivity to guests’ needs.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience and Front Desk. You will welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth check in and check out process, and provide detailed information about the property, the art pieces on display, and the surrounding area, including restaurants, culture, shopping, and events. You will handle guest requests promptly and discreetly, maintaining the brand’s serene and elegant tone, anticipate guest needs so every detail of their stay exceeds expectations, and assist with special requests, transfers, reservations, and room arrangements. Operational Tasks. You will manage daily reception operations during your assigned shift, answer phone calls, emails, and messages with precision and grace, and record and report maintenance issues, lost and found items, or incidents promptly. You will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas are in perfect condition, make sure all guest extras such as minibar, laundry, and transfers are properly recorded and charged, and prepare daily reports and handovers for the next shift. Sales and Reservations. You will handle direct booking requests, send proposals, and close reservations following sales guidelines, keep the PMS and OTA platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia updated, and upsell additional services when appropriate, including art purchase assistance, villa rentals, and events. Team Coordination. You will collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure seamless operations, and take part in daily briefings, contributing to a positive and respectful team environment. Brand Alignment. You will embody Anfitrión’s core values of discretion, aesthetic sensibility, and intelligent hospitality, maintain impeccable personal presentation and communication at all times, and approach each guest and situation with emotional intelligence, patience, and empathy. Requirements We are looking for someone with previous experience in hospitality or customer service, ideally a minimum of one year, who is fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of other languages such as French, Arabic, or Russian is a plus. You should be confident using PMS systems and online booking tools, with excellent communication and problem solving skills. High emotional intelligence, refined manners, and a calm, service oriented attitude matter as much as technical ability, and you should be available for variable shifts, morning and evening, including weekends.

A salary of €1,620 gross per month, paid over 12 months with the two extra payments pro rated monthly, plus variable incentives, with the possibility of private health insurance. Hours worked between 22:00 and 24:00 are paid as a night premium, and work on public holidays is paid extra.
