Project Manager

* Join us and help transform the investment industry with Slate WT. We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Projects team. Our goal is to help banks make investing easy, and this role will make sure every client implementation lands on time, within the agreed scope and at the quality regulated institutions expect. You'll work with development teams and clients at the same time, and have a real hand in shaping how Slate WT works. What are we looking for? We'd love to find someone with:
• At least five years of experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager on software projects (mobile or web apps).
• Experience managing vendors or external development teams, and working directly with clients.
• Strong command of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira or similar.
• The ability to write functional requirements, and enough understanding of architecture (APIs, authentication, environments) to talk to developers.
• Impeccable organisation and attention to detail, handling several workstreams at once.
• Fluent Spanish and English, at a level suited to daily client work.
• Experience in fintech, banking, wealth management or insurance is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of digital onboarding, KYC or identity management (for example, Auth0) is a plus.
• Certifications such as PMP, PSM or PSPO are a plus. What does this role involve? If you're good at these tasks, we're on the right track:
• Planning and managing several client projects in parallel: scope, roadmap, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinating outsourced development teams: backlog prioritisation, sprint follow-up and deliverable sign-off.
• Being the client's day-to-day point of contact: follow-up meetings, expectation management and status reporting.
• Translating business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories, in a role close to that of a product owner.
• Coordinating environments, access and third-party integrations with the internal team (DevOps, security, product).
• Keeping each project's documentation and status reports up to date, and escalating early when things go off track.
• Helping define and improve Slate's project management methodology: processes, rituals and tracking tools.
