Job Description
Our partner is looking for a Certification Engineer to own regulatory compliance for advanced electronic hardware, covering EMC, ESD, product safety and international market approvals. This role combines technical compliance ownership with practical engineering input. You will help shape the hardware design early, lead testing and certification activities, and ensure products meet regulatory requirements before market release.

Barcelona, Spain, Hybrid Level: Senior Responsibilities
• Own EMC, ESD, safety and regulatory certification
• Define certification plans by market and product
• Identify applicable standards and testing requirements
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, grounding and shielding
• Provide design for compliance recommendations
• Run internal pre compliance testing
• Perform radiated and conducted emissions testing
• Support immunity and ESD testing
• Investigate compliance failures and drive corrective actions
• Manage accredited test laboratories
• Lead certification campaigns through final approval
• Ensure compliance with IEC, EN and UL 62368-1
• Maintain technical files, test reports and declarations
• Coordinate product markings and market entry documentation
• Work with hardware, mechanical, power and supplier teams Requirements
• 6+ years of regulatory compliance experience
• Electronics, IT or data centre hardware background
• Strong EMC and ESD testing experience
• Radiated and conducted emissions knowledge
• Immunity testing and compliance debug experience
• IEC, EN and UL 62368-1 knowledge
• CISPR 32 / 35 experience
• FCC Part 15 knowledge
• Experience managing external certification laboratories
• Experience leading complete certification programmes
• Ability to review schematics and PCB layouts
• Strong design for compliance knowledge
• Experience preparing regulatory and market documentation Optional / Desired
• High current or high voltage DC systems
• Liquid cooled hardware safety
• ErP or Energy Star
• RoHS, REACH and WEEE
• OCP or hyperscale systems
• Customer specific compliance requirements
• Wireless or telecom certification experience
• International approvals such as FCC, CE, UKCA, VCCI, KC or CCC What’s in it for you?
