ResponsibilitiesProviding strategic legal advice across the UKI and Iberia region and selected EMEA markets, including matters related to risk, competition, and regulatory complianceSupporting product lifecycle management and launches by advising on medical device regulations, marketing law, and commercial strategyAdvising on direct-to-consumer business models, including contractual matters and consumer protection requirementsDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements across various business functionsLeading legal support for the MiniMed separation project and overseeing corporate governance complianceMonitoring legal and regulatory developments and implementing appropriate business responsesManaging disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations in collaboration with external counselDelivering compliance training and managing relationships with stakeholders and external legal advisorsRequired Knowledge and ExperienceLegal qualifications, admission to practice law requiredMinimum 8 years of relevant legal experience, with a combination of law firm and in-house experience preferredStrong knowledge of Spanish law and EU regulatory frameworks, with working familiarity with other legal systemsHealthcare, medical device, or life sciences experience strongly preferredFluency in Spanish and English is essentialPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
