Our mission is to measure, control and explain all the financial indicators required to monitor accounting, tax, regulatory, liquidity, credit risk reporting and management result activities.About the job – Temporary PositionMission: The main objective of the Head Office Reporting P&L team is to ensure the submission of the Group reporting Profit and Loss (P&L) statements as well as the review and accuracy of the accounting figures. The team is also the owner of the analytical process, being the SPOC for all P&L Reporting requirements. Additionally, the team will oversee, identify, and implement initiatives regarding the improvement of ALMT Management Accounting processes.ResponsibilitiesServe as the main interlocutor with ALMT Finance, overseeing remediation initiatives to improve ALMT P&L over the EMEA Region.Ensure reconciliation between financial and management accounting figures, in compliance with Group and CIB Finance standards.Promote data quality and associated expenses reporting.Consolidate all manual entries and difficulties.Monitor and work on remediation action plans in coordination with all actors.Foster automatic solutions instead of tactical or manual entries.Develop a strong KPI framework of controls to be shared in a specific dashboard with clients.Build relationships with Regional fronting, Local finance, SMS/HOR teams and financial controllers to produce management accounting reporting and provide synthesis and analysis required per Business Line.Contribute to the elaboration of reliable and quality Performance Management expenses reports for the region; detect needs of information and reporting.Design and implement new reports for local business management.Implement a highly automated process for the elaboration of analytical expenses.Support local finance and local heads of business lines in the analysis of expenses and KPIs, explaining what is happening in the countries in scope.Participate actively in the follow‐up, definition and implementation of the new Budget process for the perimeter of responsibility, implementing necessary controls and fostering communication with global and local teams.Participate in other tasks to avoid concentrating peaks of work in few team members.RequirementsEducation: Accounting/Business degree or equivalent.Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of financial and/or management accounting experience, preferably within Financial Services Industries.Languages: English speaking is mandatory.SkillsTechnical:Communication skills, both written and verbal.Proactive and team player, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline‐focused environment.Flexible.Motivation.Transversal & Behavioral:Excellent Excel skills.Power Point skills.Working knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, IFRS and French GAAP.Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking.Organizational and problem‐solving skills.Diversity and inclusion commitmentBNP Paribas Group in Spain is an equal opportunity employer and proud to provide equal employment opportunity to all job seekers.
