**The Team**:
This position sits within the EMEA Structured Finance Team. You would be reporting in to the Structured Finance Analytical Manager, working closely with a number of highly experienced industry specialists.

You will have responsibility for helping the undertaking of the analysis for the ABS & RMBS team and support EMEA Structured Finance activities.

As Senior Analyst (previously titled Associate) you will be assisting senior analysts to conduct credit analysis, reviewing, researching and managing data, transaction documents, running credit models, analysing cash flows, and preparing analytical documentation. You will be expected to provide analytical reasoning in committees and discussion within the team, and to act proactively toward resolution of issues, and be knowledgeable on the appropriate criteria. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry trends and issues. As new asset classes evolve, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different proposals.

**Responsibilities**:
Support and assist senior analysts in updating reports and preparing for meetings and internal credit committees

Conduct analyses on complicated Structured Finance transactions - reviewing data, documentation and reviewing and running related credit and cash-flow models, with appropriate risk factor identification, measurement, and presentation

Acting proactively in ratings committees and in the team

Undertake research and work closely with senior analysts in support of S&P Global Ratings published research and analysis for the EMEA Structured Finance team

Understand and implement S&P’s Policies and SOPs

Take the lead on special projects within the Structured Finance team as appropriate

**What We’re Looking For**:
Have completed, or currently pursuing post graduate studies / the CFA would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite

An S&P employee at this level would typically have 3+ years’ of relevant industry experience in ABS, RMBS, or credit analysis or related analytical fields in the financial services industry

Advanced skills in using cash-flow and credit models will be a distinct advantage

Ability to quickly absorb, analyse, and act upon information, while demonstrating strong proficiency with figures, accuracy and be detail-oriented while complying with deadlines

Strong team player, with the ability to work in a deal-driven, collaborative and multicultural work environment is critical

Must have ability to think independently and critically, and have an eye for innovation opportunities

**Grade Level**: Grade 11 (for internal purposes)
