Descúbralo a continuación.Founded and led by local entrepreneur Inés Miró Sans with the aim of restoring glamour and injecting authenticity into the city's tourism scene, Casa Bonay is a space for cultural exchange and a base for relaxation and exploration, infused with the spirit of the Catalan capital.Today, this carefully restored historic building houses a boutique hotel, a celebrated tapas bar, a specialty coffee shop, a cocktail bar, a rooftop terrace, and even its own high-fidelity listening room.From stunning architecture filled with period details to a packed calendar of culinary pop-ups, live performances, and events in its social spaces, Casa Bonay showcases the very best that Barcelona has to offer for everyone.Themissionof the Sous Chef position is to:Maintain product quality standards and provide an excellent customer experience.Ensure work processes and procedures are followed in accordance with the organization's operational policies, together with the Head Chef.Regarding theresponsibilities and dutiesof the role, the Sous Chef will be responsible for:Product pre-preparation (mise en place) and dish preparation (service), based on the outlet's menu.Management of the pass during service.Ensure proper care, storage, and efficient use of products and/or raw materials.Ensure the setup, service, and breakdown of services and/or events.Monitor kitchen equipment and tools, reporting any related issues or incidents.Place orders and manage stock levels and kitchen inventories.Comply with HACCP policies and ensure team compliance.Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, following service quality standards and ensuring team compliance.Organize team tasks and provide training.Collaborate in departmental innovation by contributing ideas and techniques that help improve service quality and achieve outlet results.Regarding theHard Skillsrequired for the position, we are looking for someone with:Training related to the vacant position.Minimum of 3 years of experience in the position.Experience and/or internships in a Michelin-starred restaurant is a plus.Knowledge of hygiene and workplace safety regulations.Availability to work Monday to Sunday in 8-hour rotating shifts (2 to 3 split shifts per week may occur).Regarding theSoft Skillsrequired for the position, we are looking for someone with:Excellent teamwork skills.Strong customer orientation.High communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Excellent multitasking ability.High attention to detail.Ownership (taking responsibility and initiative).What does Casa Bonay offer?:~ The opportunity to be part of a dynamic and passionate team at one of Barcelona's most iconic hotels.~ An inclusive and collaborative work environment that values personal and professional growth.~ Fixed salary.~ Tips.~ Staff meal.~ Friends & Family: 15% discount on products and services.~30 calendar days of annual and winter vacation. xohynlm~ Continuous training and innovation.
