​ The Team 

You will be part of the Tax Department, reporting to the Global Head of Tax and also giving support to other areas (Tech Department) of Lexidy. You are going to deal with all international tax mobility-related cases. As a multifaceted team, our experts can respond to multiple different types of questions.

Mission

Provide support to the tax team in Spain, taking on operational tasks from the outset such as preparing tax returns and handling procedures with the Spanish Tax Authorities (AEAT). Over time, progressively participate in international tax advisory projects and technical analyses for clients, primarily foreign-based. We are looking for a junior professional eager to build their career in the tax field, with medium to long-term projection, willing to progressively take on greater responsibilities within a growing team.

Accountabilities

• Assisting foreign clients with local Tax matters and general Tax legal advice 
• Support with proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
• Undertaking technical and practical legal research including identification, collation, and distribution of information.
• Obtaining accurate initial information from potential clients
• Assisting with a range of general office duties as needed

Individuals Tax 

• Consultancy on tax initial approach and implications for new clients.
• Compliance with IRNR, IRPF, Wealth Tax, Gift Tax returns, 720, and other personal taxes.
• Review international tax treaties. 
• Tax analysis and client advice both for Spanish citizens and foreigners.
• Tax optimization and Tax simulation studies.
• Manage and attend to the tax authorities' requirements.

• +3 years on the Tax services described above.
• Degree in law. Master in Tax related subject a plus.
• Digital Nomads/Start-up taxation is a plus.
• Digital and innovation mindset.
• Knowledge of international individual taxation.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2). You communicate clearly, write well and speak eloquently. Other languages are appreciated.
• A collaborative, flexible, and positive can-do attitude - always willing to learn and help steer the team to work well together. Let's get the job done.
• Excited about and curiosity for digital tools, process automation, and innovation
• A natural tendency to share knowledge with your colleagues. You will communicate ideas clearly and make sure everyone understands.
• Experience working efficiently with teams.
• Experience with A3 Tools (A3nom and Holded)
