Job Description

Hello Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with international experience and a passion for accounting excellence?

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong English skills and solid expertise across various ERP systems. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while collaborating with international teams in a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Remote from Spain (with optional access to offices in Bilbao or Madrid). Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid model if you prefer

What You'll Do

  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Participate in monthly closing processes, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including drafting financial statements and related notes.
  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different countries to support audits, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Optimize accounting processes and contribute to ERP system improvements and integrations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial queries and support decision-making with accurate data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in international environments.
  • Native in spanish with a high level of English (B2 or above); other languages are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
