Global Senior Accountant & Process Owner R2R

We continue to expand our Finance organisation and are now looking for a Global Senior Accountant and Process Owner of the record-to-report process. This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for developing, structuring, harmonising and streamlining the accounting cross the group. You will act as the central point - providing accounting operating instructions and procedures to legal entities, developing our record-to-report process to be more automated and providing senior accounting advice in complex accounting questions.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and provide accounting operating instructions, guidance and training to legal entities and finance clusters
  • Review legal entities accounting to ensure adherence to accounting standards and operating procedures
  • Drive harmonisation and automation of legal entities monthly intercompany, accounting and reporting processes
  • Develop the master chart of account for legal entities and support in mapping to consolidation system
  • Be the key user of General Accounting & Reporting in Navision
  • Provide senior accounting advise in complex accounting questions
  • Co-ordinate and manage accounting dimensions and master data
  • Be a key contact in accounting related topics globally

We Think That You Have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or related area
  • Several years of experience from Accounting in an international group or from auditing
  • A senior and hands-on approach
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing, Spanish is meritorious
  • Strong communication skills

You will be reporting to Head of Global Finance Operations and this role is located in Valencia, Spain. All applications must be submitted in English.
