Integrated in Axpo Group Treasury, the Senior Treasury Back Office Specialist will support in the maintenance and implementation of Treasury systems and in daily Treasury operations. This role requires a hands-on attitude with a solid expertise in Treasury and Accounting principles and systems like SAP and Treasury Management Systems.

What you will do:
SAP & Treasury Management System:

  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Treasury Management System (Kyriba).
  • Monitor interfaces and data flow between the ERP (SAP), TMS (Kyriba), and payment platforms.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial transactions data in both the ERP and TMS.
  • Act as first-line support for system incidents, user queries, and process exceptions.
  • Oversee and optimize SAP and TMS usage within treasury back-office operations, ensuring data integrity and system accuracy.
  • Develop and implement procedures to streamline SAP and TMS processes and ensure that system utilization aligns with industry's best practices.

Access to TMS:

  • Manage user access requests for all Treasury systems, ensuring timely setup, modification, and deactivation of user accounts.
  • Assign roles and permissions based on user needs and in compliance with internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of user access rights within Treasury systems to ensure compliance with internal policies.

Treasury Transaction Processing & Settlements:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of treasury transactions, including FX and derivatives transactions.
  • Oversee the confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of treasury deals, adhering to internal controls and compliance requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies in transaction settlements and liaise with counterparties to address and reconcile issues promptly.

What you bring & who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations, accounting, or a similar role, with a focus on back-office processes.
  • Ability to work independently without close physical proximity to other team members.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP (minimum of 3 years of experience) and experience with TMS (Kyriba preferably).
  • Solid knowledge of treasury operations, accounting principles, and transaction processing.
  • Fluent in English. German or other European languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
