We are the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platform in Europe with the mission to enrich life through listening. We are now looking for an exceptional Senior CRM Specialist to join our incredible Lifecycle Marketing team.

This is the role

The role is a maternity cover starting in March or April for a duration of 12 months, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate after the cover period.

Podimo is looking for a highly technical Senior CRM Systems Specialist to act as the architect behind our global lifecycle engine. This isn't just about sending emails; it's about owning the technical infrastructure that powers real-time, data-driven experiences for millions of users.

Reporting to the Interim Lead of Lifecycle Marketing, you will bridge the gap between Marketing, Product, and Data Engineering. You will be the "power user" of Braze, responsible for building scalable automations, managing complex API integrations, and ensuring our CRM data architecture supports sophisticated AI and BI use cases.

The global Lifecycle Marketing team is a global team across Copenhagen, Sweden and Spain - but Podimo has offices in London, Helsinki, Oslo, Madrid, Berlin and Vilnius, and we're looking for someone close to one of these places.

  • Tech-First CRM: We don't just use Braze; we push it to its limits. You'll work with Connected Content, Catalogs, and Canvas Flows to build "smart" campaigns and automations, integrating AI and BI data into Braze.

  • Deep Integration: You aren't siloed in marketing. You are integrated into Product and Growth, working alongside Product, Tech, AI and BI teams to deploy machine-learning models into live CRM flows.

  • Scale: You will manage lifecycles across 7+ international markets, challenging existing solutions to ensure our stack scales as fast as our user base.

Your Main Responsibilities:
  • Technical Ownership: Own the technical health of our Braze instance, including API triggers, Webhooks, and data ingestion from our backend and BI layers.

  • Automation Architecture: Design and maintain complex, multi-step lifecycles (Onboarding, Engagement, Winback) that function seamlessly across global markets and different business models.

  • Data & API Strategy: Partner with Data/BI to ensure the right user attributes and events are available. Implement new and maintain current API calls within messages to personalize content in real-time.

  • Scaling & Efficiency: Lead the transition from manual execution to scalable "always-on" automations. Document technical workflows to ensure the system is robust and transparent.

  • Cross-Functional Lead: Act as the technical project lead for company-wide initiatives, ensuring CRM requirements are baked into new product features from day one.

  • Advanced Testing: Beyond A/B testing flows and experiments, you will run multivariate tests on logic, frequency, and data-driven triggers to optimize the entire funnel.

You are a "CRM Engineer" at heart. You thrive at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution. You don't just want to know what message to send; you care about how the data flows to trigger it.

Technical Skillset:
  • 6+ years of experience in CRM/Marketing Automation, specifically within high-growth SaaS or subscription-based mobile apps.

  • Braze Power User: Deep expertise in Braze (or similar Tier-1 platforms like Leanplum/Iterable). You should be comfortable with Canvas, Liquid logic, connected content and Custom Attributes.

  • Data Proficient: Experience working with APIs, Webhooks, and large datasets. Knowledge of SQL is a significant advantage. 

  • Experience with Snowflake, Segment, or similar Data Platforms.

  • Frontend Skills: Strong command of HTML/CSS for responsive templates and JavaScript for more advanced logic.

  • Analytical Mindset: You understand the "why" behind the data and can translate complex technical setups into clear business impact.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus
