The Role

Are you excited by the intersection of digital design, parametric modeling, and real-world manufacturing? This role is ideal for someone with a technical mindset and a love for design who wants to learn how real products are brought to life at scale.

As a
Pre-Production Intern
, you'll support the generation and validation of technical documentation that ensures every project is ready for fabrication and installation. You'll also collaborate on the
development and deployment of a new internal configuration tool
, launching in Q1 for both internal and customer use.

You'll gain real-world experience in production processes, design automation, and cross-functional teamwork inside a growing design-tech company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate technical files using
    Rhinoceros + Grasshopper
    for CNC production
  • Review and validate project documentation for accuracy and feasibility
  • Contribute to the development and testing of a
    new project configuration platform
  • Optimize internal design workflows and automate repetitive processes
  • Track production phases and assist with production coordination
  • Create technical manuals and installation guides
  • Analyze production data and identify improvement opportunities
  • Join technical meetings and propose ideas to improve output and quality

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone curious, rigorous, and ready to learn in a technical environment with real impact.

  • Academic background in
    Architecture
    ,
    Industrial Design
    ,
    Engineering & Design
    , or
    Business & Design
  • Proficiency in
    2D/3D modeling
    tools such as
    Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, SketchUp
  • Basic understanding of scripting or visual programming is a plus (Python, C#, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in
    Excel or Google Sheets
  • Interest in
    parametric design, digital fabrication, and process optimization
  • Passion for detail, technical documentation, and working hands-on
  • Curious about how
    AI and automation
    can improve design workflows
  • Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency preferred
