What's a Design Expert?

At CUBRO, Design Experts are the essential link between our customers, the design team and the production team. They're the ones who ensure that every project goes from concept to reality with precision, empathy, and attention to detail.

As a
Design Expert Intern
, you'll work side-by-side with experienced designers, guiding clients through the final stage of their furniture project — reviewing technical aspects, optimizing layouts, and making sure everything is ready for production.

What you'll learn

  • How to translate real customer needs into production-ready furniture projects.
  • How to review and optimize IKEA-based kitchen and wardrobe configurations.
  • How a fast-growing digital design company manages projects from end to end.
  • How to use design tools and project documentation effectively.
  • How to communicate clearly and build trust with clients, installers, and production teams.

What you'll do

  • Guide clients through the final validation of their kitchen or wardrobe design.
  • Answer questions about materials, finishes, modules and configurations.
  • Check and document every project before it moves to production.
  • Work closely with our internal design and production teams.
  • Help us improve the overall client experience by identifying gaps and suggesting improvements.

Who we're looking for

  • A student of Architecture, Interior Design or Business & Design (Bachelor or Master level).
  • Interested in functional design, space planning and client interaction.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using digital design tools (e.g. SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD) is a plus, but not required.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (other languages are a plus).
