Are you ready to unlock value and efficiency in chemical processes through smart optimization and forward-thinking engineering? We're looking for a talented Optimization & Process Engineer to join our International Optimization & Process Department—a team where innovation meets impact.

In this role, you'll become a key contributor to optimizing plant economics, improving operational safety, and driving process development. You'll partner with Operations, Engineering, and international peers to make things run smarter, safer, and smoother.

Key Responsibilities

You'll take the lead on:

  • Process Control & Optimization: Help Operations maximize plant performance by fine-tuning variables to match market and material dynamics. Own plant KPIs and guide optimization strategies.
  • Process Development: Recommend new designs or equipment upgrades to reduce costs, adapt to new feedstocks, and develop innovative product outputs.
  • Project Execution: Ensure new projects are aligned with technical standards and fully prepared for startup—all while keeping capital investment lean.
  • Process Safety: Promote a safety-first culture by identifying risks and implementing protective systems that reduce incident probability and severity.
  • Integrity: Safeguard production integrity by maintaining design conditions and performance limits that meet long-term operational requirements.
  • Knowledge & Benchmarking: Actively exchange ideas, benchmark processes, and contribute to internal training and global collaboration. Support historical records and technical documentation.

What We Are Looking For

You bring strong technical roots, an analytical mind, and a collaborative spirit. Our ideal profile includes:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English; knowledge of Portuguese, French, or Chinese is a plus
  • Around 5 years of experience preferred—but we welcome motivated professionals at any stage
  • Experience with LAB technologies is appreciated, but we're open to diverse process backgrounds
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Professional category will be matched to your experience and capabilities
