Reporting Line
General Management / Business Development Department
Main Mission
The Commercial Engineer participate on the developing Asymmetry's business activities, identifying new project opportunities, managing tender processes and structuring strategic partnerships, in close coordination with the technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and qualify new project opportunities (public and private sectors)
- Prospect new clients (public authorities, private developers, operators, engineering firms, architects)
- Develop and maintain a network of strategic partners (engineering firms, architectural practices, international consultancies)
Tenders & Proposals
- Monitor tender opportunities at national and international levels
- Coordinate prequalification and tender submissions (technical, administrative and financial)
- Draft or supervise the preparation of commercial & technical proposals
- Contribute to the definition of tender and bid strategies
Client Relations & Negotiation
- Act as the main interface with clients during the commercial phase
- Participate in presentations, events, interviews and negotiations
- Follow up contracts through to signature
Strategy & Development
- Contribute to Asymmetry's business development strategy
- Analyze markets, territories and target sectors
- Support the development of commercial tools (CRM, references, portfolio, sales arguments)
Candidate Profile
Technical & Professional Skills (Know-how)
- Strong understanding of complex technical projects
- Good knowledge of tendering and procurement processes
- Excellent writing and drafting skills, particularly for technical proposals, methodological notes and commercial documents
- Ability to structure and clearly articulate a strong value proposition
Soft Skills (Interpersonal Skills)
- Strong sense of initiative and proactive mindset
· Good level of autonomy in work organization and priority management
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Education
- Engineering or Architect degree, business school degree or equivalent
- Dual technical / commercial background is a strong asset
Experience
- Proven experience in business development within:
o Engineering, architecture, urban planning, infrastructure or mobility sectors
o Construction company
o Consultant strategy
Languages
- English: B2 level mandatory
Location

Contract & Conditions
- Contract type: Permanent / Freelance / Collaboration to be defined
