Business Controller
based in
Barcelona, Spain
Your Mission
Reporting to the Controlling Manager this role will be responsible for business controlling for Spain and Portugal. At the same time will assist company's Financial and Business Leadership in successful strategic decision making.

Your Major Accountabilities

• Financial control and business partnering for the commercial entities.
• Supporting leadership team to follow-up business performance and related projects.
• Reporting monthly financial closing. Financial planning and rolling forecast.
• Partnering with internal customer groups to ensure deliverables are achieved.
• Financial analysis, cost center and working capital review – actuals, forecast. Monthly monitoring of sales, margins, and analysis of commercial activity,
• Launching performance follow-up with commercial business area.
• Identifying improvement opportunities. Developing new controls to anticipate deviations vs plan.
• Supporting Finance Head to develop short-term and long-term business plans.
• Working with other departments to ensure appropriate financial and business analysis.
• Review of financial control management information systems and procedures.

We Would Like You To Have

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or similar.
• +4 years' experience as Commercial Business Controlling in a pharmaceutical company. Experience in multinational companies or Big Four will be highly valued.
• Strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Business acumen and good sense of priorities, structured, results-oriented and efficient.
• Excellent in problem-solving and organization skills.
• Excellent ability to communicate on different levels.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish
• Advance in Excel. SAP (FI & CO) will be a plus.
