We are strengthening our Data & Analytics practice with a Senior Data & BI Consultant who brings strong experience in business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics delivery, with the ability to coordinate data workstreams within multidisciplinary teams.

This role is designed for a professional ready to take ownership of data products end-to-end—combining hands-on BI expertise with stakeholder management, governance awareness, and delivery leadership.

Your Role

You will work for one of our Fortune 500 clients, a leader in its sector, within a global team and in the field of R&I and advanced analytics.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead and coordinate data analytics activities, contributing hands-on to the design, development, and evolution of dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions. You will act as a bridge between business users, data governance, and technical teams, ensuring high-quality, trusted, and actionable data products.

You will also support project managers and engagement leads by structuring data workstreams, managing priorities, and contributing to client communication and expectation management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of BI dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI and Looker, ensuring clarity, usability, and business relevance.
• Coordinate data analytics workstreams, defining tasks, timelines, and quality standards for junior consultants.
• Design and maintain SQL-based data models, optimized for analytics and reporting use cases.
• Ensure alignment with data governance, data quality, and security guidelines.
• Translate business and R&I needs into clear data requirements and KPIs.
• Oversee data exploration, validation, and reconciliation activities across multiple data sources.
• Contribute to the evolution of Shared / Consumption Data Sets (SDDS) and analytics foundations.
• Review dashboards and datasets to ensure consistency, performance, and best practices.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, documentation, and client deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings, providing structured communication, progress updates, and recommendations.
• Support proposal development, internal knowledge sharing, and capability building within the Data practice.

Required Skills

Data & BI Expertise

• Strong experience designing and delivering dashboards in Power BI and Looker.
• Solid expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analytical modeling.
• Experience working with analytics layers, semantic models, and KPI definitions.
• Understanding of data quality, lineage, and governance principles.

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance optimization).
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (Google Cloud Platform is a plus).
• Familiarity with data pipelines, curated datasets, and analytics-ready data structures.
• (Plus) Experience with Power Apps or low-code tools connected to data platforms.

Domain Exposure (Valued)

• Experience working with pharma, healthcare, clinical, or R&D-related reporting environments.
• Ability to work with sensitive or regulated data.

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Proven ability to coordinate workstreams and mentor junior profiles.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Consulting & Business Skills

• Experience in client-facing roles and delivery contexts.
• Ability to translate data outputs into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and structured storytelling.
