Senior Data Platform Engineer - Hybrid 4 days Onsite / 1 day Remote

About the Team:
You'll be a key player in the Data Platform team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and resilient data solutions. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand data needs, drive innovation, and help shape the future of the platform.

Responsibilities


• Lead the development and maintenance of a robust and scalable data platform


• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights from diverse data sources


• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance data infrastructure


• Establish and uphold data governance standards to ensure quality and compliance

Technical Skills / Experience Required


• Strong proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation


• Expertise in SQL and experience handling large structured and unstructured datasets


• Solid understanding of data modelling techniques (e.g., dimensional modelling, slowly changing dimensions)


• Experience with graph database modelling (a plus)


• Proven experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred – BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)


• A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement


• Experience working in the Financial Services sector (ideally FinTech) is
essential
for the role
