ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College, Soto de Viñuelas, a leading British international school in Madrid, is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Cover Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cover across Years 1–6, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach and supervise classes from Year 1 to Year 6 during staff absence.
- Deliver planned lessons and adapt materials when needed.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Support pupils' academic and personal development in line with school values.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions and continuity.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management and ability to adapt quickly.
- Experience in Primary education, ideally across multiple year groups.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
