Job Description:

The objective of the Compute Category Portfolio Manager is to drive incremental revenue and margin growth of the HPE Compute business WW aligned for the Alletra 4k and additional Compute offerings.

In this role you will work closely with the Geo Compute Category teams worldwide to define and execute the Compute Category GTM strategy for the Alletra 4k and additional Compute offerings. You will also engage extensively on the Compute Product Lifecycle from NPI to Product End of life (EoL) engaging with the Geo Category and global stakeholders as required.
 Key Responsibilities:
•Define the WW Compute Category Product Portfolio GTM strategy for respective area of focus (Alletra 4k and other Compute categories) to drive profitable units' growth
•Partner with Geo Compute Category Managers Worldwide to coordinate execution of WW Compute Category GTM Portfolio strategy aligned to Geo-specific / localisation requirements
•Develop product expertise in the respective area of focus to successfully represent market needs and to evangelize the portfolio across the Geos
•Define demand generation priorities to achieve revenue and margin targets for assigned product/s, coordinating with Marketing, GBU, Sales Ops, etc.
•Identify and represent Compute GTM Geo requirements for assigned product/s, ensuring alignment with BU stakeholders (in support of product lifecycle and future roadmap decisions)
•Analyse business performance/KPIs for assigned product/s by Geo/WW and platform and drive targeted GTM actions across Geos in support of FY26 Compute financial goals. Provide Geos WW with key insights on market and competitive landscape for focus product/s.
•Partner with key stakeholders (BU, GTM Lifecycle Manager, Geo Compute Category Managers, etc) to ensure the effective launch of NPI offerings and successful depletion of EOL committed lockdown volumes aligned to focus product/s
•Share examples of Best Practice of focus product/s with Geos WW to support revenue and margin growth
•Advocate for Geos WW to secure support (resources, assets, enablement, etc) to drive revenue and margin growth of focus product/s
•Act as key point of contact to WW GBU for assigned product/s on behalf of Geo Category teams

Education and Experience:

  • BA or BSc in Business / Marketing / Computer Science (MA, MSc, MBA a plus)
  • 10+ years' experience in Business Development / Sales / Marketing / Go-To-Market
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Compute / Storage Technology Acumen Required
  • Experience working with virtual teams
  • Language Requirements: English (required), local language (preferred)
