As a Business Banking Executive, you will join the Business & Private Banking team that's focused on owning it and winning together.
Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:
- Be the champion of sales and leadership process for the Business Banking Centre.
- Foster a high performing culture, drive a positive working environment and build the capability of the team to deliver market leading proposition in Mulgrave.
- Lead team members to improve and contribute to sales productivity; ensure long term sustainability of the business.
- Act as an ambassador of nab in the local market and drive the community strategy for the team.
- Build relationships with top customers and key referral networks/influencers in the local market.
- Coach bankers to develop their customer and portfolio management skills including breadth and quality of calling program.
- Hold ultimate accountability for the team's delivery against sales plans and budgets, managing revenue and expenses for the Business Banking Centre.
- Lead and manage change across the business to best adapt to the evolving banking landscape
- Provide thought leadership, advocacy and challenge to the regional leadership team to elevate long term performance of the broader business.
We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Significant banking background years) in either business, private, corporate, credit, or specialised business, or equivalent professional experience in a related career.
- Managing a business with revenue and expense plan accountabilities.
- Substantial years of sales, profit and loss knowledge.
- Be a proven leader who inspires high levels of engagement, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Relevant academic qualifications required (i.e. finance, commerce, economics, MBA, CA, CPA, etc).
