Job Summary:

Enfinity is seeking an experienced Quality Leader to drive Quality Control and Quality Assurance across its renewable energy portfolio in India across Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) technologies. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and delivering quality excellence across the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction, commissioning, and O&M while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and Enfinity's internal quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Strategy & Governance

• Develop and drive the overall quality strategy aligned with Enfinity's business goals across Solar, Wind, and BESS portfolios.
• Establish company-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
• Define and implement Quality Procedures, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Quality KPIs.
• Act as the custodian of quality culture and promote first-time-right execution and zero-defect mindset across organization.

Construction Quality Management

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) to ensure adherence to contractual and technical requirements.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and best practices.
• Identify, document and track non-conformance (NCRs) issues and ensure corrective actions are timely and effectively implemented.
• Verify and document that all materials and equipment received are in compliance with approved submittals and are fit for use.
• Lead and document quality control meetings and ensure proactive communication with project teams and contractors.
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure quality standards and acceptance criteria are met.

Supplier Quality Management

• Define and implement robust Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes.
• Evaluate, approve, and monitor suppliers and subcontractors with SCM to ensure the delivery of materials and equipment that meet quality standards.
• Conduct periodic supplier audits, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and pre-dispatch inspections.
• Resolve supplier-related quality issues promptly in coordination with SCM and project teams.

Standards, Codes & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with relevant Indian and international standards.
• Manage third-party inspections, customer audits, and certification processes.
• Ensure adherence to contractual quality requirements and technical specifications.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze quality data, trends, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
• Promote use of digital tools for inspections, audits, NCR tracking, and documentation.
• Capture and institutionalize lessons learned and best practices across projects and technologies.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Drive and maintain ISO 9001certifications in the region
• Act as the primary interface with customers, consultants, contractors, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders on quality matters.
• Foster a culture of first-time-right quality through effective communication, training and leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech./BE (Electrical / Mechanical)
• 15-20 years of experience in Quality role with strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and standards
• Hands-on experience across Solar, Wind and BESS
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Expertise in QMS, audits, RCA, CAPA, and risk management
• Ability to work across multi-site, fast-paced project environments
