The Market Access Intern will provide support to the Market Access team in Spain & Portugal, contributing to activities related to pricing, reimbursement, tender management, and health economics . This position is designed to offer a structured learning experience , enabling the intern to gain practical knowledge of market access processes within the pharmaceutical industry.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement submissions .
  • Support tender management activities , including monitoring tender opportunities and compiling documentation.
  • Contribute to data analysis for health economics and budget impact models.
  • Collaborate on market research and competitor analysis.
  • Maintain and update internal databases related to pricing, tenders, and access.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects with Regulatory, Medical, and Commercial teams.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the end-to-end process of pricing and reimbursement in Spain & Portugal.
  • Gain exposure to tendering processes and their strategic importance.
  • Develop practical skills in data analysis, health economics, and market access strategy .
  • Learn to work in a cross-functional environment within a global pharmaceutical organization.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Economics, Business Administration, Health Sciences, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Good communication skills in English and Spanish .
  • Interest in pharmaceutical industry, market access, and tender processes .

What You'll Receive

  • Internship Duration: 12 months.

  • Place of Work: Madrid
  • Flexible Schedule: from Monday to Thursday from 8:00-9:30 to 17:30-19:00, on Fridays from 8:00-9:30 to 14:00-15:30.
  • Summer Schedule during the months of July and August (from Monday to Friday from 8:00-9:30 to 14:00-15:30)
