For this unique location in Leidschendam, next to The Hague, we are looking for a chef to strengthen our kitchen team. We offer you a professional work environment with a great atmosphere, linked to our trendy concept.
What do you bring as a cook ?
Your responsibilities include performing preparatory tasks such as washing vegetables, cutting salmon, and cooking sushi rice for making sushi and stone bowl dishes, working with a kitchen team of approximately 10 colleagues, led by the head chef.
Preparing and cooking dishes according to the head chef's recipes, while carrying out interim quality and hygiene checks.
Preparing and checking dishes before they are handed over to service staff for (robot) delivery.
Cleaning your workstation, kitchen equipment, and machines before closing and assisting the kitchen assistant (if present) in fully cleaning the kitchen and storing delivered goods.
Being a strong team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills.
Contributing to quality, optimization, and adjustments of the menu, as well as developing recipes and preparation instructions.
Preferred qualifications: MBO-2 (or equivalent) education with knowledge and experience in basic cooking techniques.
What do you get in return?
- A gross salary between €2,400 - €3,000 based on a 38-hour workweek in accordance with the Dutch Hospitality CAO, including 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
