Our client is a HVACR leader multinational manufacturer, in expansion and closely linked to innovation in natural refrigerants. It has 3 production centers in Spain and we are looking for the Production Manager for the center located in Monistrol de Montserrat (Bages, Catalonia).

In the plant they have been designing, manufacturing and marketing industrial refrigeration and process cooling equipment.

You will be responsible for a team of around twenty people, reporting to the Plant Manager.

Duties and Responsabilities:

  • Coordination of the production personnel in charge of the correct functioning of the factory.
  • Lead improvement projects layout optimization, etc.
  • Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production according to demand and the sales department's priorities.
  • Coordinate human and material resources to ensure efficient workflow on the plant floor.
  • Supervise the team of operators, supervisors, and technicians, promoting a safe and productive environment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering, maintenance, purchasing, and quality departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Monitor key production indicators (OEE, scrap, productivity, cycle times, etc.).
  • Propose and implement actions to optimize costs, energy efficiency, and plant performance.

Work Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Industrial sector and in a Production coordination roles with more than 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge in Office Software's and Production ERP and planning tools.
  • Interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards.
  • Desirable English.
