Waynabox, the surprise travel company, is looking for a dynamic professional to drive the growth of our travel offering in Italy.

As Italy Country Manager, you will be responsible for scaling and optimizing our marketing strategies, strengthening brand presence, and building strategic collaborations with local influencers and brands.

We are looking for a proactive, creative, results-oriented professional who can launch initiatives that drive growth and reinforce our position in the Italian market.

Responsibilities

  1. Social Media & Community
    : Define and manage Waynabox's presence on the main social media channels. Create engaging, locally relevant content and interact with the community to increase brand awareness and attract new travelers.
  2. Influencer & Brand Partnerships
    : Identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations with influencers, content creators, and brands to promote Waynabox. These partnerships may include social media campaigns, joint events, or special co-marketing initiatives.
  3. Market Growth & Expansion
    : Implement growth strategies to position Waynabox as a reference brand for surprise trips in Italy. Identify opportunities, launch targeted actions, and drive innovative initiatives to improve conversion and customer loyalty.
  4. Performance Marketing
    : Define the acquisition and retention strategy for the local market and oversee its execution through an external agency. You will set goals, coordinate with the agency team, review performance, and propose optimizations to maximize return on investment across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads.
  5. Website & Product Optimization
    : Ensure that the website and value proposition are fully adapted to the market. Adjust content, messaging, pricing, and product to align with local needs, expectations, and consumer habits.

What you need

  1. Italian native speaker
  2. Deep knowledge of local culture, market, and consumer behavior.
  3. More than 4 years of experience in marketing launching new B2C brands.
  4. High level of spoken and written English.

Nice to have

  1. Proven experience working with influencers and content creators.
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Experience or strong interest in the travel, leisure, or lifestyle sector.
  4. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset for decision-making.
  5. Experience managing marketing agencies or external providers.
  6. Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
