Senior Account Manager

Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid working)

Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 + commission (realistic 2× OTE)

About the Role

This position is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who understands the cloud landscape and can guide organisations through their adoption of AWS. You will work with a wide variety of customers, helping them modernise, scale, and innovate through cloud solutions. Your role will centre on uncovering opportunities, developing trusted relationships, and driving cloud revenue growth.

You will also be responsible for strengthening the company's presence in the region. A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with AWS commercial teams to build joint value, deepen alignment, and accelerate opportunities across the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and secure new customer accounts across multiple sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with new and existing clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and performance targets.
  • Work closely with AWS field teams to support joint initiatives and co-selling motions.
  • Educate clients on cloud benefits, AWS offerings, and the company's cloud delivery expertise.
  • Develop tailored cloud strategies that address customer challenges around scale, agility, and growth.
  • Partner with internal marketing and sales teams to refine outreach campaigns and engagement plans.
  • Stay up to date with AWS services, cloud trends, and competitor activity to position solutions effectively.
  • Commit to continuous learning to strengthen product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Provide insight from client conversations to shape go-to-market messaging and service improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, AWS services, and related industry trends.
  • Demonstrable experience in winning new business and expanding existing accounts, ideally within consulting or managed services.
  • Background supporting organisations moving workloads to the cloud.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Confident in presenting value propositions, handling objections, and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
  • Professional, customer-centric, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing client needs or market conditions.
  • Fluent in
    Spanish and English
