WebBeds is the world's fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.

How will you make an impact?

• Support the Supplier Cash Optimization Team Leader to ensure the debit balance recovery is running efficiently
• Assist in the monitoring of the Creditors Ledger and the production of the Debit Balance report on a monthly basis.
• Reduce the Debit Balances month on month with a pro-active approach to resolving issues which create debit balances.
• Assist the TL to maintain excellent working relationship throughout the business by being aware of the key focus area between Suppliers, Purchasing department & Content/Investigations department.
• Prepare monthly KPI'S for TL as requested
• Ad-hoc duties as delegated by the TL.
• Ensure accounting entries to the finance system are accurate, DR balances & balances on hold are reportable, reviewed and monitored, import errors are rectified
• Reply to/resolving internal & external queries in a timely efficient manner (per SLA), liaising with the key stakeholders
• Make suggestions for improvements in the processes adopted by the department
• To provide any additional support as can be reasonably expected of the role in supporting the Payments & Cash Optimization Manager, Financial Transaction Manager and FD
• Paying special attention to escalated issues and resolving queries by territory where applicable, prioritising and taking into consideration the sensitivity of the area/supplier

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase

• At least 1-year experience in a high volume, multi-currency accounts team.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of an accounts payable function and general procedure.
• A natural flair for spreadsheets, accounting, and reporting.
• Highly accurate numeracy skills, computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of SAP/SUN reconciliation, Q&A, Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to include excellent verbal and written English.
• A strong desire to resolve issues with a clear and concise approach.

Experience, Skills and Behavioural Requirements

• A background in Finance/AP Department.
• A willingness to take direction from the TL and perform well under pressure and time restraints.
• Solid knowledge and developed IT Skills and spreadsheets.
• V-lookup/Pivot & Functions would be an additional advantage.
• Experience in high value transactional department.
• Experience in using SAP/SUN.
• Travel industry experience.
