Legal Army is an Alternative Legal Services Provider (ALSP) ranked in Chambers & Partners in Band 1 at ALSP's category. We are an ALSP boutique specialized in data, privacy, technology, innovation, IP, contracting, commercial and business law.

Our corporate organization seeks the welfare of lawyers and the satisfaction of our clients, attracting the best legal talent but working in a different and alternative way to the traditional law firms. All our lawyers are in our staff, work exclusively for us on a full-time basis and have been trained according to our proprietary work methodology and our special philosophy based on customer centricity.

This is the first Spanish ALSP, This is Legal Army.

What we need from you:

• Empower, develop and boost the Privacy area of the practice with an international vision.
• Provide Data Protection and Privacy advice to L-A different clients worldwide.
• Conduct GDPR implementations projects and audits.
• Handle multiple clients inquiries daily, delivering high-quality responses within tight deadlines.
• Draft and review privacy documentation, including privacy notices, DPAs, SCCs, RoPAs, and internal policies.
• Monitor regulatory developments in privacy and data protection and assess their impact on clients.
• Liaise with supervisory authorities, when required.
• Coordinate multinational projects involving client teams across different jurisdictions
• Carry out DPIAs, LIAs, TIAs and risk assessments.
• Monitor DPO controls periodically according to accountability principle for all L-A clients.
• Provide In-company trainings.

Qualifications:

• You have a University degree in Law and Privacy / Digital Law related post-graduate education. DPO or other Privacy related certification is highly desired (AEPD scheme, CIPP-E or similar).
• C1-C2 in English is mandatory. Another languages are highly valued since this is an international role.
• Have, at least, 4 years of privacy experience in a consultancy, corporate or law firm working for several clients – especially conducting GDPR adaptations and implementations, in the preparation of PIA's, acting as DPO for several clients.
• Well organized and able to work under pressure with multiple clients from different areas and sectors without loosing on excellence.
• Knowledge about how technology and digital business works: specially in programmatic advertising (AdTech), e-heath, AI, software, cookies, cyber intelligence, platforms, e-commerce, etc.
• Well organized, very executive with an excellent business-oriented judgement.
• You are a strong communicator and have great interpersonal and presentations skills.
