The Impact of a Senior Digital BDR at Coupa:
As a Senior Digital BDR at Coupa, you are the tip of the spear for our new business growth within the largest and most strategic companies in EMEA. Your mission is to penetrate enterprise-level accounts (over €1 billion in annual revenue), identify significant business challenges, and generate high-value, qualified sales opportunities. This is not a typical business development role. You will be a strategic partner to our senior Enterprise Sales Executives. After uncovering and qualifying an opportunity, you will hand it over to the sales team to drive it to a close. Crucially, you will remain involved in the sales process of some opportunities, providing you with an unparalleled opportunity to learn the art of complex enterprise deal-making and accelerate your career growth toward a senior closing role.
What You'll Do:
  • Strategically prospect for new business within target enterprise accounts, generating pipeline through multi-channel outbound efforts.
  • Qualify and develop opportunities by engaging with C-level and director-level contacts to understand their business needs.
  • Partner with senior sales executives to hand over well-qualified opportunities and collaborate on winning deals.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of newly created opportunities and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed your quarterly objectives for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
  • A proven track record of success in business development and prospecting within large, complex enterprise organizations.
  • Proficiency with modern outbound prospecting tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • The ability to professionally engage with senior-level stakeholders and build rapport quickly.
  • A high level of energy, a hunter mentality, and a strong desire to learn and grow in enterprise sales.
  • A Bachelor's Degree and excellent fluency in GERMAN is required.
