, we are looking for entrepreneurial minds eager to turn groundbreaking science into impactful ventures.
The Programme
As an entrepreneur, you will join our
3-month venture-building programme
designed to validate the business potential of scientific technologies and build solid and complementary teams, ready to co-found disruptive spin-offs.
During this journey, you will:
- Work hand-in-hand with researchers to explore markets, validate use cases, and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders (institutions, clients, partners, and investors).
- Build a solid business plan and fundraising strategy.
- Test and develop and your co-founder relationship.
And you wont do this alone. Our structured programme provides access to mentors, specialists, industry leaders, and a powerful ecosystem. At the end of the process, if both, the business and team are validated, the spin-off will be incorporated, and you will become
CEO and co-founder
of a new disruptive, IP-protected startup.
The Offer
- Relevant equity as a co-founder.
- 6,000 euros stipend (3 monthly instalments of 2,000 each).
- Opportunity to access a participative loan of up to 50K to finance the first phases of the project.
- International exposure (4YFN and Mobile World Congress).
- Access to a vibrant network of mentors, experts, investors, and industry partners.
- Coworking space at Tech Barcelona Pier 01.
This opportunity is for you if you are:
- An entrepreneur with experience founding or co-founding tech-based startups with real traction.
- Passionate about science-based innovation.
- Skilled in team leadership, strategy, and fundraising.
- Resilient, hands-on, and able to bridge science and business.
- Eligible to work in Spain (passport or visa required).
The Process
1.Applications:
Through the link above you will be redirected to our careers page, where you will find three types of opportunities
(You can apply to one or several opportunities, depending on your interests)
- Active Venture Projects:
Ongoing projects already in the programme and currently looking for a CEO (e.g.
Sorbmetrics
,
Onakids
). - Sector-Based Opportunities:
Open calls aimed at building a strong candidate pool for ventures that will be onboarded in January 2026. - General Talent Pool:
For candidates whose profile does not match current openings but who wish to be considered for future ventures or leadership roles (e.g. COO, CTO).
2.Screening & First Interview:
If your profile meets our initial requirements, you will be invited to complete an extended application form followed by a first interview. This stage helps us understand your motivation, professional background, availability, and venture interests.
3.Second Interview & Project Matching:
If there is a potential fit between your profile and one or more projects, you will be invited to a second interview. At this stage, we take a deeper dive into your experience, entrepreneurial mindset, and leadership potential, while assessing alignment with specific venture opportunities.
4.Shortlist & Matchmaking:
Shortlisted candidates meet with the scientific team and enter the matchmaking phase. Candidates may meet more than one project during this process. Once there is mutual alignment between the candidate and the scientific team, you will formally join the project and take part in the
Business Validation phase,
the first step toward becoming
CEO and co-founder
of a new deep-tech spin-off.
