We are currently looking for our future Sales Manager for our shopping center portfolio in Madrid, in URW language we call it a Leasing Manager.

 What will your day-to-day life be like ?

Within a team of 8 people and reporting hierarchically to the Senior Leasing Manager, you are responsible for one of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield's assets in Spain.

In this context, your main missions are as follows:

  • You conduct negotiations throughout the whole process, from sourcing until store opening, whether it be renewals, lease terminations, reletting, including our development projects.
  • You develop privileged partnership relationships with brands by ensuring high quality services and interactions, developing and cultivating proximity with accounts, regularly meeting decision-makers/developers.
  • You develop and share an in-depth knowledge of the asset you manage and its main KPIs as well as competition and customer profile. Also, you will be updated on the changes in the sector, opportunities and challenges.
  • You ensure sourcing, identifying new key or high-potential players, creating the contact and developing the relationship.
  • You actively participate in knowledge sharing during the Commercial Action Plan and budget: sector vision, key concepts or players, brands with high development potential, and formalization of the strategic action plan for your asset and the Spanish portfolio.

Position based in Madrid (Spain).

 How to succeed in this position (soft skills + hard skills) ?

Must have:

  • You have a university degree or equivalent.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in the commercial field, ideally in distribution/retail.
  • You have demonstrated a strong sensitivity to the world of brands as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit can propose innovative, creative action plans and are constantly a source of proposals and conviction to your interlocutors, both internal and external.
  • You handle pressure well and enjoy working in a stimulating and fast environment. You like working towards objectives and are driven by results.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are fluent in English and Spanish.
  • You are proficient in computer tools such as Excel and PowerPoint and are comfortable with reporting tools.

Nice to have:

  • You have already worked in the retail sector or in a real estate company on a position of leasing/commercial/sales
