Job Description:

Position: Junior Key Account Manager

Position Reports to: Commercial Director – Southern Europe

Region: EMEA – Spain & Italy

Location: Madrid, Spain

Position Overview:
Junior Key Account Manager
will be responsible for leading the following key areas for Mass Market Channel in Spain and Italy:

Business Management

  • Management and Capability Building of Italy and Spain Distributors.

Business Planning

  • Design and optimization, along with the Marketing Team, of Trade & Promo Plans for Mass Market Channel.
  • Define Key Business Drivers and Commercial Conditions Guidelines for Mass Market Channel.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities via Market/Trade data analysis.

Operational

  • Sales KPIs Reporting
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure all marketing strategies and activities are communicated to the sales team and trade material prepared accordingly.
  • Work with the Distributor, as well as Local Finance Manager and Business Analyst, for the S&OP and quarterly forecast preparation.

Skills Required:

  • Preferable Bachelor degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar role. Minimum 1 year in the field in Mass Market channel managing Key Accounts directly.
  • Expertise in Mass Market Channel in Spain and Italy
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions and make decisions.
  • Working with discipline: Plan, follow through, anticipate capability gaps and deliver in tight deadlines.
  • You take the initiative to improve things, and you have a strong hands-on mentality.
  • Team player and strong collaborator with the local and regional team.
  • Strong communication, influence and interpersonal skills including the ability to set up solid cross-functional partnerships.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written & conversational). Italian is a plus.
