The company

My client, a top TECH CONSULTANCY company, is looking for an IT Business Manager. They are expanding their Business team in Barcelona and are looking for someone who's ready to prospect and open new client accounts, manage a portfolio of existing clients, and oversee your business unit with consultants.

They are looking for a profile with sales experience who considers themselves a hunter, enjoys prospecting, and conducting the entire sales cycle.

The Missions

You will be directly in charge of your own business unit, performing the following functions:

  • Detect new business opportunities in the market.
  • Attract and open new accounts (prospecting/hunting).
  • Develop business strategies, manage, and retain inherited clients.
  • Respond to client needs.
  • Maintain close contact with the IT recruitment team, to meet all client needs and help them find the best match.
  • Manage the finances of the Business Unit and your consultants.

Profile I am looking for

  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in roles such as 360 consultant, business manager, sales consultant (full cycle in outbound), or similar, ideally in tech consultancies.
  • You have experience working with the Spanish market.
  • You have solid technical knowledge of the IT/tech sector (IT profiles, technologies, target companies, etc.).
  • You possess good communication skills, empathy, and organization.
  • You are results-oriented and people-oriented.
  • You have good organizational and time management skills.
  • You have a high level of English (minimum B2).
  • Nice to have: You have an intermediate/high level of French.
  • You enjoy business development and the commercial aspect.
